Environment Condition in January, 2018
According to the researches, the water level in the Goryn River (above the Baltic Sea level) fluctuated within a month from 192.87 m to 192.79 m (by the end of month) in January. The average month temperature of water was 1.2°С. The average month water flow was 9.93 m3/s; the general flowing of the Goryn River was 26.60 million m3 during the month. The maximum daily average water flow was 14.2 m3/s, the minimum daily average water flow was 8.05 m3/s in January. The water level of the reservoir-cooler fluctuated from 202.46 m to 202.55 m (at the design level 203.0 m) during the month. The average month water temperature was 6.7°С (the maximum daily average was 8.8°С; the minimum daily average was 4.8°С). The mirror area of the reservoir-cooler was 19.183 km2; water volume was 106.694 million m3 at the end of the month.
The chemical analysis data of water quality in the reservoir-cooler (the pump station of auxiliary water) and in the Goryn River (near the Old Mill, Netishyn)were as follows in January:

According to the data of chemical analysis results mentioned above, the water quality of the reservoir-cooler in January was better than the water quality in the Goryn River regarding many coefficients.
The water recovery from the drainage channel of the pump station of leakage water was 1.753 million m3 during January. The diversion flow from the Goryn River into the reservoir-cooler was performed at amount of 1.0 mln. cub. m by the pump station of auxiliary water.
According to the data of ambient air composition research, the month maximum one-time concentration of oxide sulfur at the border of the protected sanitary area of KhNPP (in Neteshin) was <0.05 mg/m3 (<10.0 % from MAC), the maximum one-time concentration of oxide nitrogen was <0.02 mg/m3 (<10.0 % from MAC) in January. Based on the research of precipitation composition, pH value was 6.8 units. Total precipitation was 46.6 mm during January. The total rainfall was 46.6 mm in January (39.3 mm in January 2016, and 30.9 mm in January 2016). The average month air temperature was «-1.9°С» (the maximum daily temperature was «+4.9°С», the minimum daily temperature was «-13.4°С»).
