Today, on April 10, Khmelnitsky 2 operates at power of 1007 MW. Over the previous day the power unit generated 24.23 mln. kW*hour of electricity, and electricity generated from the beginning of the month amounts to 218.41 mln. kW*hour.

Khmelnitsky 1 has been in maintenance for 7 days.
On the 3rd of April at 3:02 p.m. Khmelnitsky 1 was disconnected from the grid due to the actuation of generator protection system. The causes are being determined. Evaluation on the INES scale is “below the scale / level 0”.

Radiation environment at the site and on the adjacent regions has not been changed, and remains on the level pertinent to normal operation of power units, and does not exceed natural background values.
