Daily Information on Khmelnitsky NPP Operation
Today, on April 18, Khmelnitsky 1 has been in maintenance for 15 days.
On the 3rd of April at 3:02 p.m. Khmelnitsky 1 was disconnected from the grid due to the actuation of generator protection system. Evaluation on the INES scale is “below the scale / level 0”.
Khmelnitsky 2 operates at power of 1010 MW. Over the previous day the power unit generated 24.27 mln. kW*hour of electricity, and electricity generated from the beginning of the month amounts to 412.57 mln. kW*hour.
Radiation environment at the site and on the adjacent regions has not been changed, and remains on the level pertinent to normal operation of power units, and does not exceed natural background values.
